So my daughter was born on the 29th February, an amazing moment. We did not want to know the sex of our baby so were quite conservative with our clothes purchases before she was born, with lots of whites, yellows and greens - instead of blue and pink. although not a huge fan of pink, we have been inundated with pink since the day she was born.

Now most people baught her a little something, except for my aunt who has knitted what can be described as a full wardrobe for her until she is about 2 years old.  likewise my aunt was clever enough not to  go pink or blue  until Emily was born, since then we have knitted tops, hats (bonnetts ???), socks, boots, mittens, blankets (large and small) all in various shades of pink. she has been very industrious, and i had never thought someone could do so much in so little time

Hi to you all from not so sunny England, at the moment it is pouring with rain once again (not that it always does) but it has not made me sad as i am indoors ;-)
