I didn't get around to sewing this weekend--it was devoted to painting a tray for storing my rubber stamps. But I did get a chance to do a little hunting on the web and found a great site for sewing ideas and tutorials. It's called WhipUp, and while it's devoted to all handcrafts, a few items posted recently caught my sewing eye.
Like this one for creating fabric covers for boring plastic crates. And one for making a beanbag chair. What fun!
If you have go-to sites for sewing inspiration, please share in the comments. I'd love to check them out!
Until next time,
Christine

Those fabric covered crates are actually from Laura Gunn's blog. I have it saved to my favorites, along with the blogs of Sandi Henderson, Anna Maria Horner, Patty Young, and several other fabric designers. They are my inspirations and most of them have free tutorials on their blogs. You gotta check 'em out!
