Scrapbooking (and probably nearly all crafts) is a way to meet the nicest people.  Since scrapping, and previously painting, are the only two creative things I've done as part of a group I can't speak for the others.  I've found that there is a common thread amongst us scrappers and we enjoy the friendships and sharing as much as the creating and shopping.  Many I've talked with share my belief that scrapping, even if you include the cost of materials and equipment, is cheaper than therapy sessions and you have a piece of artwork to show for your trouble as well.  The people I've met and befriended through this wonderful hobby are always among the things I'm most thankful for when I'm giving thanks!  And thanks to my five new friends here for the nice welcome and for either inviting me to be a friend or accepting my invitation to be friends.

I am digging this new site!  It was amazingly easy to upload photos to the gallery.  Of course it helped that the photos had already been edited and sized for ease of uploading but still it was mechanically pretty easy to do.  Here are some samples of ScrapJoy

I've been scrapbooking ever since my ds was born 6 years ago.  I've enjoyed the friendships that have developed both in real life and more recently online as much as I enjoy creating the actual layouts and viewing the finished product.  It's interesting to see how my style has evolved over the years.
