My name's Liz, and I'm the newest member of the mycraftivity papercraft team. I've only been with F+W a couple months, but I'm already excited about our work and community. I've entered a whole new world of craftily creative people that I never dreamed existed!
One of my most recent discoveries is Etsy. I know, I know, not exactly a brilliant find, considering you all have known about it forever. But it's a new frontier for me. I thought I'd share some of the cute things I found as I was browsing around the papercraft items today.
I just came across these pumpkins featured in Country Living and I had to share. You may not think they're completely scrapbooking related, but I quickly realized that your scrap stash could be what helps you create a similar masterpiece!
Look through your embellishments for large fun shapes that you can use as stencils. Use your letter stickers as a guide for spelling out something spooky. Or skip the carving all together and make a pattern by piercing brads all over. (This could be particularly cool on a white pumpkin.)
Hope everyone has a wonderfuly creative fall weekend!

The three of us had a great time checking out the aisles of scrappy supplies and spending lots of time interacting with Memory Makers readers and other scrapbookers. Kelly headed up the mycraftivity booth while Beth and I manned (womanned?) the Memory Makers booth selling books for $5 (what a steal!). Plus, Cut Loose author Crystal Jeffrey Rieger stopped by the booth to sign autographs on a break from a full class schedule.
