If you live in the Midwest like me, you’re probably in need of a little pick-me-up to get you through the last of the winter blahs.  Look no further than today’s post to get your creative juices flowing.  It’s time for this week’s challenge!

Here it is: Create a scrapbook page from the prompt “If I could…” and include acrylic paint on the page. Ready…set…go!

Like every other challenge it seems, this was a great one for me. I typically think in the real rather than the abstract (my pages don’t stray too far from vacations and daily life). Plus, I fear painting because it’s messy and there’s no undo button, and, to be honest, I’m not really very good at it. So in response to the challenge, I made a page with a message to my childhood self adding swashes of bright blue paint on the journaling tag and around the cardstock edges.
