Yesterday, Kentucky held its presidential primary and American Idol held its final. So there were plenty of opportunities to vote and to teach my kids about the importance of voting. However, this wasn't the best election to use as an example. My question: If you don't feel strongly about one candidate or another, even after you've taken numerous internet quizzes, should you still vote?
And, because so many people asked me who I voted for, I'll tell you...I voted for David. :)

Funny you should pose this question, Robin. I felt a little indifferent all day yesterday, but finally decided that I needed to take a stand and exercise my right. As I was driving home, the radio announcer said that the polls in KY were open for another hour. So I got to my polling place (the Veteran's bar across the street from my house, oddly enough), only to find the polls closed. The radio station must have rerun the news from the 5 o'clock hour. Sigh.
