How do you create a space of your own for painting and storing projects in progress?

Hi Kathy,Well, its ideal to have a room devoted to your painting. When I had my storefront, I had 1,200 sq ft to work in. But now that I'm back home, I was able to take over an upstairs den. I brought in lots of shelves and storage drawers. My spring project (or I should call it my husband's project) is to convert our 4-car garage into my studio. I will be returning to painting furniture so I can't lug that upstairs. I can't believe this man is giving up his garage, but I'm not complaining! We have to run water and septic, insulate and drywall, heat and AC, and put in flooring, but I'm excited about having a large space again, one in which will be big enough to hold class as well. I sure miss the classes as much as my students do!
