    Tutorials on the way

Monday, September 22, 2008, 08:59 AM CST [General]

I'm going to try really hard to have at least one tutorial listed here each week. And plan on starting with some of the items already posted in my gallery. If you have any questions on how to recreate something just reply and I will do my best to help you out.

This weeks tutorial will be using the cuttlebug and alcohol inks on Maya Road Sheer Blossoms... so fun!

This is super easy to do and creates a beautiful embellishment for any project.

    Products:
    Maya Road Sheer Blossoms
Ranger Alcohol Inks (Terra Cotta, Bottle, Pearl, Latte, Gold)

    Tools:
    Cuttlebug
    Embossing Folder (Textile)
    Blending Tool

    Instructions:

    • Place a Sheer Blossom inside the embossing folder and run through the cuttlebug
    • Apply alcohol inks in Terra Cotta, Bottle and Pearl onto blending tool
    • Apply inks to large blossoms twisting the blending tool after each application (dab, pick up tool, twist while holding and then dab alcohol inks onto blossom again) repeat until covered.
    • Apply alcohol inks in Latte and Gold onto blending tool
    • Apply inks to smaller blossoms twisting the blending tool after each application (dab, pick up tool, twist while holding and then dab alcohol innks onto blossom again) repeat until covered.

This technique will help you create the project listed below. For more ideas go to www.lisapace.com and click on tutorials under catagories on the side menu.
