    Beads, beads, beads

Sunday, February 17, 2008, 05:08 PM EST [General]

Hi there! If you have visited my blog at www.abeadaday.blogspot.com you know by now I have serious bead issues. I spent a good hour this morning picking and vacuuming them up off the floor. I suppose that comes with the territory. Sadly, I tipped over a tube of seed beads AFTER cleaning the floor that still need to be picked up!!!

I wanted to mention I placed a picture of the wooden flower bead I purchased yesterday that was so cute out on the bead a day blog if you are interested in taking a look. I am hoping to use it for a bracelet project later today. First, I need to get outside for a few minutes to enjoy the 56 degree weather.

    Have a great evening!!

    Sunny Saturday

Saturday, February 16, 2008, 07:25 PM EST [General]

Hello! I hope everyone had a chance to enjoy the sunshine today. It actually got up to almost 40 degrees I think! I was hoping to receive my firemountain order today, but no such luck!! I am looking forward to receiving some top drilled bicone crystals in jonquil. I had admired them a while back at a bead show, but for some reason thought it would be frivilous to spend any more money. I knew I would have to buy some eventually!! The middle of winter seemed like a good time for bright sunny yellow crystals!

As soon as I get them, I'll add a photo. I'm hoping to be able to get the idea in my head to materialze well into a cute bracelet. Sometimes it works, sometimes other things materialize.

Since my order didn't arrive, I made a quick trip to Gahanna to look at Ally Beads...I found a few cute ceramic beads and a wooden flower...really cute.

I'm heading for the beads, talk to you soon! If you get a chance, pop over to my other blog at www.abeadaday.blogspot.com. Thanks!! - Lisa

    Welcome Beaders & Crafters!

Friday, February 15, 2008, 08:26 AM EST [General]

Hi everyone! As you can see, this is my first post on this blog site. The other blog I have recently created is www.abeadaday.blogspot.com. I hope you will take a moment to visit.

My focus on that site is to celebrate the beauty of each individual bead and the unique artwork they are used to create.

Yes, it is true, I have serious bead issues. If all I have time to do is sort through beads, that is enough to make me happy!!

Feel free to comment if you would like to compare obsessions!
