Hi everyone! I wanted to pop over here and share a bracelet that I just posted on my blog, www.abeadaday.blogspot.com. This is such a fun bracelet and doesn't require lots of beading skills, just a little patience. This one is made with black hemp cord that you tape down to your work surface. Very simply, of your 8 strands, you place the first bead on strand one, the second bead on strand 2 and 3 together, the third bead on strand 4, the next on strand 5 and 6 together and the 5th and last bead across, you place on the last strand. For the next row, you start off by placing the first bead over the first 2 strands, the second bead on just the 3rd strand, etc. The coolest part of this bracelet are all the lovely dangles!
I hope you get a kick out of this one, take care all!
Woven Wooden Bead Bracelet
Fabulous Iridescent Bead
Hi there! Hope everyone is doing well out there! I just had to share these photos of a fabulous iridescent bead. I bought this one at a bead show and have picked it up several times over the last year or so, but have never made something with it. Part of my enjoyment of beads can sometimes be getting them out and looking at them, feeling them, sorting through them, etc. I was taking photos of beads for my bead blog where one bead is showcased daily (www.abeadaday.blogspot.com) and was really in awe of this one. One side is gorgeous with it's colorful iridescence and when turned over, it's like a completely different bead with great colors and artful design.
I just had to share! I hope you enjoy this as much as I did! Take care!!

Too Soon to Think Summer?
Hello! I know I'm getting ahead of the game here, but I came across these two simple summery bracelets that I made a couple years ago that are still hanging around in our inventory and really need to find a home. Of course, I think they are adorable, but that's me. I went through a period of wanting to dangle things from dangles! What is the harm, I thought! It's so festive.
Anyway, here are a couple fun, simple bracelets with dangles that are so easy to make. You really don't need to have beading skills for this one at all or any real special tools except a wire cutter or heavy scissor for the head pins and a simple pair of pliers. If you know how to tie a knot, you are good to go. Just thought I'd share! By the way, these are made with recycled paper cording rather than hemp cord.
Have a good one!
Spring Flowers
Hi everyone! After looking through some of the recent posts, I realize I am not alone in my feelings that spring can't get here too soon! My thoughts of spring reminded me of this great springy bracelet that I made on a beading cruise. This was a lot of fun to make and is always fun to wear. It gets a lot of attention because it definitely has presence!![]()
