Hi everyone! Since I haven't posted for a while, I wanted to share a handful of beads and jewelry that have been posted on my blog at www.abeadaday.blogspot.com recently that you might find interesting.
I love coming across gorgeous, interesting and even odd beads and enjoy sharing them with other beaders. It's the treasure hunting aspect of beading that is so great to devote a Saturday or Sunday to so you can really dig around and look in drawers, baskets and little containers on shelves in the bead shops and even the chain craft stores.
I hope you enjoy these! Have a great day! -Lisa C.
Hello! While I am still a little bit hooked on these large jewelry links in circular shapes from Michael's, I thought I'd post a couple more things I have made with them recently. Sometimes you never know how long things will stick around at the local craft store. It's hard to tell if the store has just purchased some items for the season or if they will continue to order them for a while. If you find something you really like, it is probably a good idea to stock up! I hope everyone is having a great holiday weekend!! Take care! Lisa C. (www.abeadaday.blogspot.com)
Hello! I wanted to share these awesome beads with everyone because I had a jaw-dropping moment on my last trip to Joann, Etc.
There was an entire wall display or end of aisle display of blown glass beads. THEY ARE GORGEOUS! I posted this on my blog at www.abeadaday.blogspot.com and received a comment that these are not necessarily being carried at all the stores. Ours has just gone through a remodel which included increasing space for beads, yay!
I still haven't figured out what to do with these beads except to admire them! Let me know if you have any ideas! Take care!
Hello! I just wanted to post an update on this challenge I mentioned last week. I successfully created and posted a bracelet on my blog and happily sent it along to Cami of Art, Like Bread today. This is my first experience with a challenge like this and I must say, it was a lot of fun! I hope you check out Cami's blog in the near future to see what she puts up for grabs in the continuing saga of the "heart it forward" challenge!
Here is what Cami will be receiving along with some other surprises!
Hello!! I haven't had a chance until today to share with all of you that I recently won the coolest PLEXIGLASS bracelet! These photos were taken by Tonia Davenport who offered this piece up on her blog as part of her "heart if forward" contest/challenge. I have already received it and have been wearing it ever since. I will be posting my piece up for grabs this weekend which is the "challenge" part of heart it forward.
