    Baby Shower Success

    Tuesday, April 8, 2008, 01:56 PM [General]

The Baby Toole LOOK WHO'S COMING shower was a Success! Everyone LOVED the movie theme. We even rolled out the red carpet for our guests!!!

We served movie type food: soft pretzels, popcorn, candy, hotdogs...you name it, we had it! A DQ Ice Cream cake topped it all...because we all know ice cream is perfect after the movies!

The games were a hit as well—we played "Name the Movie Star's baby," Movie titles with the word baby in it, a crossword puzzle, and of course we did a raffle with movie ticket! So much fun. The take home bags were filled with "star" like quality...popcorn, baby bottle candy, and LOVE!!!

    Take a peak....

    Who I am

    Thursday, March 6, 2008, 03:08 PM [General]

    Hello Fellow Crafters!

My name is Kelly and I'm a graphic designer for Memory Makers Books. I was hired on at F+W in LATE, LATE 2006...basically 2 days before 2007. My time here has been wonderful. I love going on photo shoots, scrapbooking, designing, and most of all, working with fun/inspirational/warm hearted people.

    Books I've designed so far:

Ask The Masters 2: Making the Most of your Scrapbook Supplies (my very first book), 601 Great Scrapbook Ideas, Paper + Pixels (did the cover and the interior shots...but was on Maternity leave for the duration of the interior design), Simply Elegant Flowers, Show It Off, and Oh! Baby.

    Titles I'm currently working on:

Cut Loose (by Crystal Jeffrey Reiger), Starting Points (by Linda Harrison), and When Life Gives You Lemons (by Sherry Steveson).

My first child was born on August 2, 2007...a beautiful 7 lb. 9 oz. girl...Brianna Alexis (see layouts and photo gallery for pictures). She's my pride and joy, and pretty much the only person I scrapbook about these days.

I have a serious passion for dance...lyrical, jazz, modern, and hip-hop. I judge for different dance associations in Ohio and Indiana...along with teaching classes in the area. But I love to choreograph for high school dance teams as well as on the college level.

Besides that, you can find me in my spare time watching Kevin James on The King Of Queens. LOVE IT! One day soon, I'll scrapbook a page about my obsession with Doug Heffernan...which will be inspired by the WE DARE YOU book.

Other than that...I'm a firm believer in the truth, I live off carbs, I'm a pretty shy person in large groups of people, but more social in a smaller setting. I have a fear of public speaking and spiders, and I love going to the movies.

That pretty much sums it up!

    Kelly,

I love you even more that you said that one of your fave movies is girls just wanna have fun. Ted and I were just talking about this movie the other night — and I had the urge to see it again.

I see a movie night in our future!!
