I just finished a box for a Christmas gift and it turned out better than I expected. It needs a good coat of gloss varnish and I remember reading someone's blog or project on the sight a few months ago. She had a link to a gloss product that I had never heard of before. It looked terrific so of course I pasted the info somewhere. Where now that I need it? I hate when that happens, and it happens more and more these days. I tell myself it's because I have so much on my mind -- better than the alternative explanation.
I haven't painted in a while and when I tried going back to it, I felt like a first-grader. I mean my painting looked liked it had been done by a first grader. Not that I have anything against first-graders, you understand. But I was looking for a different result. So I'm wondering whether to continue my efforts or go onto something else for a while. I was much more creative and productive when I worked. My mind was filled with images of all the things I wanted to do when I had time, and I did get some of them done. Now that I have time, the images are fewer and they do not light the fire.
Well, there is always sudoku, an addictive pasttime. Maybe that's the problem. My mind is crowded with numbers.

Thank you for your compliment! I actually use paint shop pro for my digital scrapping. I've been playing with graphics on it for years and all the people I know have started going over to digital scrap so I thought I'd give it a try to. I thought that I'd need something special, or would have to buy a new program (and may yet) but for now I just use PSP.
