    Monday night

It's getting late, 9 pm, and I'm tired but I am here in my "painting room" surrounded by my favourite things.  I have so much I want to do, paint the painting of the Red River cart, sew more blocks for my sampler quilt, make a couple of shopping bags from all that Christmas fabric I have, draw with my colored pencils and start with watercolors.  Oh, so much to do and so little tme to do it.  Then I want to use my new stamps and work on Bonnie's Scrapbook, but I need some nice patterned paper first and I need some acrylic paint, especially Burnt Sienna.  I can not paint without Bt. Sienna and that stuff I got from Vera is just about all dried up.  I must make a trip to Camrose.

I spend about 10 minutes (the fun of digital) to about 30 minutes on a page. The most time and fun I had was doing my Mother's Navy albulm. Her pages were falling out of the albulm. I scanned every photo and redid her albulm in the Navy colors and with the Navy symbol on the front like the expensive custom albulms. I have to say I am thrifty when it comes to scrapbooking. You cannot tell that the albulm was handmade though. The look on her face is what I love about scrapbooking. She creid a little when I gave it to her. She now keeps it out for everyone to see.
