Long time no blog. It seems everything and everybody wants my time. I have two new pages uploaded about my neice. She got married and pregnant and I have trying to capture those moments for her in an album. My Grandson just turned 11 and I have been with him for a week. I have to work on his pages too. After 8 years of retiring I have finally become busy. I am getting too much too soon.

 I am back after several days of being sick. I slept for three days and could get up. I finished my Mom's scrapbook but could not give it to her because I did not want her to be sick. No such luck. She has been sick for three days also. My sisters are sick too, I guess we caught it from each other. I will give the scrapbook to my Mom when everyone is better. Thanks to everyone who has given me the inspriration to continue.

  I think I am finished with my Mom's scrapbook and it has been an emotional journey. My father died when I was four so i did not remember him. By doing this scrapbook I got some insight in to how much my parent loved each other. I also saw a silly side of my Mom I did not know about. We had a wonderful childhood and this just made my younger days come to life. I found a few more photos that were tiny about the house I lived in and Mom still does during construction. I have to scan those and enlarge and add to her scrapbook. Am I finished. Probably not.

                    I have a pretty good bit done on my Mom's scrapbook albulm. My sisters think it is cute so far. I will try to post some of the layout.. Just be warned I am a simple srapper. I try to use the stuff I have on hand to make my pages. Itreid a bleaching effect on one of the pages and it turned out good. My sister wanted to know where I got that paper. I made it my self I said proudly. We went all (11 of us) to dinner and my oldest sister's Grandchildren said she use to look good. They all told my Mom she was good looking back in her younger days. "Out of the mouth of babes" we could only laugh at the words of wisdom. I will try to scan some more later on as finish a page.

     I just got a box of old pictures from my mother from 86 years ago to about 1975. I am going to atemptto finish an albulm I started for her two years ago. I do not know some of the people so I will leave a journling box for her to write in any info she remembers. I redid her Navy albulm and it turned out great.. Wish me luck and pray for patience.
