    Off to CHA tomorrow!

I was offered the unexpected chance on Monday of visiting CHA in Anaheim next week, and have siezed it with both hands! I leave tomorrow, flying to LA where I'll get to have a sneaky peek around Hollywood before embarking on three full-on days of craft, craft craft. I'll take a big suitcase to leave space for the ideas, product samples and make + takes I'm sure to collect along the way. I'm bracing myself for my first long-haul flight - got my neck pillow and ipod packed, so should be OK. If anyone else is going, or has any survivial tips, let me know!

Good luck for your trip! Drink plenty of water on the flight and enjoy the fact that you can sit back and be waited on hand and foot for a few hours. Don't bother with a window seat, try to sit on the aisle of the central block of seats. That way you can get out yourself without disturbing anyone and they can get out of their seat at the other end of the row without bothering you. This works best if you're travelling as a couple because there are usually four seats per row in the middle block. But as you are in a group with the RU folks at least you will know the person next to you (who might have to clamber over you if both the people on the other side of them are asleep!). There. That's my top tip.

Will you keep an eye out for any fabric trends for me? Looking forward to your report when you get back. And you better bring back some sweeties for the office or there will be trouble.
