There is not a group here for weaving (yet).  Primarily, that's what I do when I'm not distracted by gardening or cooking or blogging or reading.  I'm gearing up to cross over to mixed media/fabric/collage land, hopefully bringing the weaving with me.  Right now, I'm in love with tapestry and simple cardboard and pin looms.  My current project is based on a photograph of a labyrinth at a local retreat.  I'm planning to do two versions of the same design.  This tapestry is using lots of little handspun samples that I was given by a retired weaver, woven on a foamcare board pin loom.  The next one will have a blue path and I'm going to sew buttons and other little objects in the place of the rocks.

I don't like the pedestal and I have already taken half of it out to rework it.  I think that I'm going to end up doing some embroidery on top of this weaving.
