    Cricut cutting system

    Thursday, February 7, 2008, 02:22 PM [General]

Has anyone heard of the Cricut (Cricket) cutting system?  If so, what are your thoughts about the product?  I'm very curious about it ... it seems to have it all.  It is expensive, and the cartridges aren't cheap, but compared to other cutting systems, the convenience alone may be worth it.

Scrapbooking - finding the time !

    Saturday, February 2, 2008, 08:17 AM [General]

I've never blogged before ... so I'm not quite sure how to start, what to say and all that other stuff.  Really the only crafty thing I do is scrapbooking at the point, although I have high hopes for myself to aspire to other things!  And maybe this site will help me get there with a little help from my current friends and new friends I'm sure I will meet.

I've been scrapbooking about 8 years.  What started as an afternoon at my sister in laws house ... I came home 4 hours later and I had 1 page finished.  My husband said to me, "that's all you did?"  I worked hard on that page, but it was true.  That's all I did for 4 hours of work.  I have to get the hang of this because I'll never get my "life" scrapped at this pace.  Needless to say, I've picked up the pace a bit.  The only problem I run into now is I don't make the time or take the time to scrap like I use to.  And that frustrates me.

Any inspirational stories to get me moving again?
