Hi! Yes, I'm here and will be checking in often so please, feel free to ask me anything that is on your mind. I love creative talk, so any question is a good question!! Or if you don't have any questions, maybe you can answer mine!!

My book Starting Points is about finding inspiration in EVERYTHING. There isn't a thing in this world that I feel is safe from eventually flourishing into a scrapbook layout. ;) My question to you is, where do you find your inspiration to scrapbook? What is the most unusual thing you have been inspired by? Okay, that was two questions...but I'm feeling chatty.

Feel free to answer my question...or questions...or ask me one of your own. Either way, let's chat!

I just wanted to say I really enjoyed looking through your book as I am working on designing The ScrapBook Club bulletin. It really has some great ideas.

Thank you, Jennifer! I appreciate you stopping in to share your thoughts on the book! It means a lot to me to hear feedback and definitely puts a smile on my face to know that the ideas in there are well received.

I love pretty things, so I'm usually inspired by a specific product that I want to use--an embellishment, letter or pattern--and then find a photo to scrap based on that.

I guess I'll be the first to ask a question of Linda:  Besides the obvious (trimmer, adhesive) what tool do you use the most in scrapping?

I would say after a trimmer, scissors and adhesive, the tool I used the most often....actually I think it is a tie between my ruler and paper piercer. I'm a stickler about making sure that lines and papers that are supposed to be straight on my pages, are. And my paper piercer I used for a lot of things. If i'm not using it to create a hole for a brad or to create holes to hand-stitch through, I am using it to apply rhinestones, move an embellishment over just a tiny bit, or gently lift up the edge of adhered paper to tuck something under. I seem to use those two tools on every layout I create.

Oh Norah, that sounds fabulous!! What a fun inspiration piece that must've been. Do you have that layout posted anywhere? I'd love to see it!
