Hello all im cathy and i wanted to see if anyone wants to start sharing ideas for layouts or maybe some techniques they learned..i love to try new things out.

hope some of you will want  to swap ideas.. Hey swap that is a great idea..haha

Just joined this mycraftivity site so i hope it gets busy i noticed lots of posts are from a long time ago..hope that isnt the case here.

Hi New people. I am relatively new too, as I don't get on here often.  I really like the interconnection between other crafts on this sight.  I am on several different groups here. I am mostly scrapbooker and cross-stitch. I think I like the tactile quickness of creating layouts. the MIxed Media/Collage and the Inspiration Creativity have good resources for ideas. I love collage! I don't do it enough. MC is just  like "myspace" only its  for crafters of all genres! You can go to a persons blog and request to be added as a friend. Then you can get the notices of when they post a blog. THAT is a super great place for inspiriation. Margot Potter has a blog on Saturdays that is full of links to other people's sight. (When you add someone as a friend you have access to all their friends and so on.. just like myspace. I can go on to my friends and see all their friends. Its huge like that. and goes on and on.

I like your idea of a idea swap. I have posted my LOs into my own gallery, but will need to to post them to the main gallery, that is where they will get noticed and then you can post a notice on the message board that you've added a page or picture of a project.

I think the key on this sight is all of us connecting to each other. 

I also posted a survey sort of about doing a Hoarder's Challenge.... due to the fact I have too much paper and not enough time. So I thought a challenge woudl get our juices going. then we can all share our los!
