    I'm at a crafting retreat - look what I made!

    Well, I'm away at a crafting retreat and I had knit this hat about a month ago. I'm a pretty new knitter and I LOVE to make hats but I think they always need some finishing. (Plus, I plan to open an Etsy store sometime soon) So - I grabbed some felt and went to town yesterday sewing felt appliques on the hats that I've finished.

    Here is one of them - what do you think? Excuse the hair. I let it air dry and my straightening iron is at home. LOL!

    I just joined and wanted to leave a comment. Very cute hat and I like the felt bird you sewed onto it. It is amazing what you can do with felt. I wish I knew how to knit. My grandmother was always knitting and I now wish she was alive to teach me. My mom tried, but she is left handed.

    Cute hat! You did a great job. I don't know how to knit, would love to learn. I do crochet though!LOL Love the felt birdy!!!

    That is so cute!! I so want to learn to knit and make hats and stuff. My daughter loves wearing hats like that and i could make her lots and lots!
