My Crafts: I'm a papercrafter/scrapbooker by trade - I even used to design product and was a licensed artist. However, recently I've developed a love for knitting! I've bought 6 sets of needles and enough yarn to knit a house.
My Inspirations: In life - my mom and family. In terms of creativity, I enjoy seeing what other crafters are making. It always sparks ideas!
My Shows: Grey's Anatomy, Private Practice, The Biggest Loser, Clean House, October Road, The UFC (go Matt Hammill!), Rock of Love and Ghost Hunters
My Movies: I love comedies! Super Troopers, The Wedding Singer, Sixteen Candles, Superbad, Dumb & Dumber and any other movie that makes me laugh so hard I cry. I also love to watch Rocky marathons - Yo Adrian!
My Books: I can't resist a good organizational book and I am always buying craft books. I also buy anything to do with The Total Money Makeover because I want to be rich someday.
My Magazines: People - gotta read about celebrity gossip; Real Simple; Domino; Lucky; Memory Makers; Scrapbook Trends; How; Print; The Ikea and Pottery Barn catalogs...
My Music: My iPod is a nice mixture of anything and everything from The Cure to Johnny Cash to boy bands and top 40. I enjoy just about any music and I'm pretty excited that the New Kids are reuniting. That's right - I said it. My favorite was Jon. If you know who that is, then we can SO be friends.
    My Occupation: Marketing Manager
My Family Members: My husband, Scott, and I have been married for almost 10 years. We have two girls - Maggie is 7 and Addie is 2. We also adopted an American Hairless Terrier named Achilles. That's right - my dog has NO FUR. Why do you think I knit? He needs sweaters.
My Other Hobbies: Hanging out with the hubby and kids, photography, shopping and fishing. (I know it's random but I like to fish - it's relaxing)

So, I have this cashmere sweater...

I have this sweater that I bought at the thrift store last year. It's cashmere and it's MY size (which is a total miracle), and it has a fun argyle print across the front. Perfect, right? Well, no. It has a small hole in the back. Not too big, but big enough to notice. I figure that I can't sew it without it being noticable, so I'm thinking of felting it.

But, felting a CASHMERE sweater. Is that ok?

For you felters, what do you think? Will it felt properly? I thought about felting it and then making something cute out of it. Not sure what, yet, but I'm sure there are a few ideas in Betz White's book. (Warm Fuzzies)

    I welcome any suggestions!

So, is anyone else excited that the New Kids are reuniting? Or, is it just me? LOL!
