A lazy day thus far. I am attempting to get used to my new tri-focals and they are being tough for me. I am not so good at just looking out of one place in my glasses. I find that I am leaning in a lot as the mid level isn't clear unless I am back further than I usually am.
I did finish a few new pages for the class I am taking. Here they are. Hope you enjoy them. .....

In the last couple of days I have been able to complete a few more layouts. The Baker's Dozen class on BPS is really pushing me to create and I love it. Some of these photos I hadn't thought about scrapping and the one of my parents with my son and daughter-in-law I had hoped to work with and just kept putting it off since dad died. Hard to think of for those years. Now I am ready. I have done two pages with dad in them this past year.
Wow, June is half over and I feel as if it just started. I added my first layout using Photo Editor 2008 today. It was easy to make but there is so much to learn that I will most likely stick to Elements unless I want to do something fun with type. Also celebrated a birthday the first of the month and will post a few pictures of that here in my blog gallery. I received a gorilla tripod and the cutest clock, it's a teapot. Most of my time has been spent in two different Big Picture Scrapbooking classes in May and this month. 28 Days was great fun and I have to admit that I am using my camera more now. The latest is Baker's Dozen. It is being much more difficult to do this one as a digital scrapper. I found the gathering of supplies was a real challenge. Now the layout creation begins and that shouldn't be quite so difficult. That's about it for today. More soon I hope..
Today we will be lucky to have the temp rise to within 60 degrees. This is the strangest June. The news folks are calling it Juneuary. It is the coldest June in our history and it feels like winter. There is snow in the passes and the Washington State DOT is in a quandry. How do you say "Traction tires required" when they are against the law after the April deadline. I would laugh if I weren't so darn cold. I am so very thankful that we had the double pane windows installed this past March. I think I will do some paper crafting today to get my hands moving and warm.
I've just uploaded 13 of the 72 pages of the heritage album I completed for my family. It has family pictures from the 1890's through my graduation in 1962. I started by dividing everything into decades and then breaking each decade down to pages. I used an 8.5x11" album with black pages and used the same type of black photo corners that had been used in the albums I saw as a child. I kept the embellishments to a minimum to keep the look as original to the time as possible. This was a three year project. It is finished this year before my mom (85) comes to visit. She will be so pleased to see it completed and my son and his family will inherit it one day.
