Jen Worden issued a challenge to finish something that had been sitting around unfinished.  I had this piece of beach glass sitting on a ledge in my bathroom staring at me for a long time.  I had put copper tape around the outside and then tried to add a blue patina.  The tape ended up being black with little flashes of blue. 

I had also been meaning to stamp it with azure Staz-on, and to add a rusted embellishment.

As a result of the challenge, I stamped it and added the rusty star, so I am very pleased.  But it isn't finished. 

And I'm not sure what this piece is going to be.  I don't think it can be a brooch, its too heavy.  I don't think it can be a pendant, it

 would need to be put together more sturdily and I would need to figure out a bail that didn't show up on the other side.  Perhaps I could work it into the front of a journal.
