This site has been on my mind all weekend.   Its fascinating to see the wide variety of people and the rate at which people are joining.

I've been a craft publisher for 10 years or more and am looking forward to hearing from all the crafters so that i can learn more from all these talented people.  From my own perspective I'm looking forward to learning from the many experts on the site.  I received a sewing machine for my birthay - the first machine Ive ever owned and am now looking forward to making my first item.

Am thinking about curtains and pelmets which I sorely need but is this too ambitious and if not any recommendations for the quickest easiest but highly desirable result?
