I should be getting my second batch of yarn back this week. I found a wonderful lady in Wisconsin who retired and just opened a fiber mill. Shes quick and she's reasonable. I should be able to have new yarn monthly if it moves. I also had two new crias born in July. They are adorable and doing great. I started doing fleece competions This month and won grand reserve on my first try. I have several animals that I will be showing fleeces from next year!!!! It will make beautiful yarn.

Some pages are not quite finished, but the majority is. I'm also looking for those wonderful little type errors (how embarassing). I'm so happy and proud about this. I did it 100% myself!!
No Time, No Rest
Completed my first farmers market 2 weeks ago. Yarn didn't move, but I met many wonderful people including a lady, Marley who who is an artist that uses raw fiber as her medium. She was very excited to meet me. Last week I went to a llama show and as it ended up, my husband and I are the new superintendents as of next year. The show usually has around 160 animals as well as walking fleece and sheared fleece judging. Speaking of fleece, I took in 28 fleeces this year to pick and have spun. With the new fiber people interested, I think I will have most of my lighter colors turned into roving instead of yarn. I guess they like to create their own natural dyes that they color the fiber with prior to working with it. This weekend it's back to the farmers market. Last time I was able to do a little cross stitch. I hope to get more finished this weekend. The market is worth it to get some peace away from the normal hustle.
Patterns for All!!!
Does anybody belong to the site Freepatterns.com? They are a free site who send daily ideas for all sorts of crafts. Some of the patterns need to be purchased, but are very cheap. I bought a nice necklace pattern for $.99. If you aren't familiar, check it out. They have tones of ideas.
Attn all Gardeners!!!
Wow is Spring a busy time of the year!! I have spent the last four hours weighing and packaging llama manure to be sold for gardens and house plants. I am doing my first local farmers market this Saturday and today I have bagged around 100lbs of manure!! If anyone knows of anyone looking for organic/natural manure, let me know! I sell cheap! I am also excited about taking my llama yarn as well. I hope it sells. The price of hay this year has doubled compared to last year. I'm hoping to get my llamas to pay for themselves with yarn and manure. If I'm lucky I will get to do some scrapbooking at some point during this week that I have off. I am also planning to take my cross-stitch with me to the market.
