Well I finally have a daughter in law! The wedding was beautiful and finally finished. You know it takes months to plan and then is over in a matter of minutes. I had always wanted a daughter now I have one. So now the real fun begins!! Scrapbooking all the beautiful wedding pictures!! She loves the scrapbooks I have done so I am either going to try and get her started scrapbooking or do one for her, either way it is going to be fun!! So if anyone has any wedding layouts they would like to share with me I would love to see them!! And I will post some when I get some finished. I have the Race for the Cure on the 18th then an ALL DAY CROP on the 25th!! So I will have a lot to crop!!

Hello Ladies!

It was really great to see that Crystal is back and in such a good mood! I have missed her greatly, as I am sure you have too!

My question to you is this......Wedding photos.  My oldest is getting married on the 11th and I am doing the bridal pictures tomorrow. Yeah I know we waited a little late to do them but we have been busy trying to get them a place to live! UGH! Anyway, can you please help me with ideas! I haven't been able to scrapbook in while, trying to do the wedding thing and then remodel a house for the newlyweds to live in and then my husband lost his job! So things are a little nuts around my house right now. But God is good and we will make it I have no doubt!!

So any ideas you can give me would be greatly appreciated! And bridal ones too! I am so excited about the wedding and everything that I can hardly contain myself.

Please think about it and if you have any you could post on your site please do and let me know. I will try and post one of the bridal shots next week. She is going to be a BEAUTIFUL bride!

Well we are on count down to the wedding, October 11th, and after they are married I will get to start on my scrapbook room. I am very excited about it but also a little nervous. I want to try and get it right the first time and not have to re-do it. So this is where all of you come in. I need your help.

If you have a scrapbook room or a craft room, what is your favorite thing in your room, the one thing you could not live without and what is the one thing you did that you wished hadn't done. And I want to know all you can tell me from what color is best on the walls, what kind of tables or chairs and what kind of storage. PLEASE HELP ME!! After helping pay for a wedding and remodeling a house for my son and his soon to be wife my funds are going to be low so I really want to do it right the first time. I would rather pay a little more and get what is right than get something cheap and have to replace it!

Well I sent my youngest back to school today. :(    Just where did the summer go? I had so much I wanted to get done that just didn't happen! I don't know about you but I really don't remember being this busy as a kid, or my parents being this busy. Do you? It seems like there is something going on all the time! UGH!  Now my oldest is getting married in October so we will be working on that until then.  But lucky for me I have boys, so my planning is a lot less. But with him getting married I will be getting my own Scrap Room!! YEAH!! I am so excited! I told Ami earlier today that I will just lock myself in and stay for as long as I can! It does make the idea of my oldest leaving the nest a lot easier to handle. I lose a son living with us, but I GAIN A ROOM!! (and less laundry, mess and more food!!)

So did you get as much done this summer as you had planned???

And any suggestions on my soon to be Scrap Room would be great!!

PS   Thank you to those who gave me store names in the Dallas area, but we didn't get to look for any. Spent the whole day looking at the different stores on Harry Hines! Shop, Shop, Shop!!

Ok ladies I need your help. A friend and I are going to be going to Dallas this weekend, and we would like to know of some good scrapbook stores to try. We will be coming in on I-30 and will be in the Harry Hines area (Sam Moon! yeah!)
