    Scrapbook Stores in Dallas Area

Wednesday, August 13, 2008, 10:49 AM CST [General]

Ok ladies I need your help. A friend and I are going to be going to Dallas this weekend, and we would like to know of some good scrapbook stores to try. We will be coming in on I-30 and will be in the Harry Hines area (Sam Moon! yeah!)

So anything you can give us would be great! Thanks in advance!!

    Cindy,

There are only one or 2 left in the Dallas area. Most LSS in the entire DFW have bit the dust. It's sad. I'll give you a list of some in the DFW Metroplex area, but be sure to mapquest each because some may be farther than you want to drive (I would also call to make sure all are still open):

    The Scrapbook Barn - www.thescrapbookbarn.com
3427 East Trinity Mills Road, Dallas
    (972) 418-8600

Kim’s Scrap & Crop Denton, TX
    Ste 110
1100 Dallas Dr, Denton, TX 76205
    (940) 442-5933

    Gotta Scrap
    Scrapbook store
    910 Steger Towne Rd., Rockwall

    The Crafty Scrapper
    308 South College
    Waxahachie, Texas 75165
    Phone: 972-923-3151

There are more listed on this site: www.txscrapmania.com/dirn... BUT be sure to make sure they are still in business.

    Cindy,

The Scrapbook Barn, Gotta Scrap and Crafty Scrapper are all still open and doing well. Of those three, The Scrapbook Barn will be the closest to where you will be coming from. If you have the time; Gotta Scrap is a good store although a little pricey and Crafty Scrapper is well worth the trip but you want to have plenty of time if you go there. It is in Waxahachie and I love it. I have been to these three stores but not the one Denton so I can't comment on it. If you can't make it to Crafty Scrapper on this trip, be sure to try and make it another time. Check out their website www.thecrafty scrapper.com.
