I just wanted to say that I went to the library and checked out Domiknitrix and the Anti Craft books today. If you are trying to reach me, my head may be buried for a few days!

So I am interning at the adult probation office this week which is really cutting into my crafting time. I left home at 7:30am and dind't get home until 3:30pm. I even left early because my kids were sick. So maybe tonight I can craft. Or maybe I will just read. I'm feeling really beat emotionally after everything I've heard the last two weeks. Maybe I'll take my emotions out on a good knit piece.

    Somethings finally finished!!

Saturday, May 17, 2008, 07:06 PM EST [General]

So no armwarmers yet. I'm still trying to decide between red or blue. I have the possible yarns posted in my pictures in case you would like to help my decide. But Granny is getting a new hat made by me. It turned out super cute and I think Granny will love it. I also posted so WIPs pictures. I have more but that's a start. Hopefully I can get some things finished here pretty soon so I can start something new. I have like 4 wizards in my closet just waiting to tye me up in a spell. A cross-stitch spell that is. Any-who, just wnated to ramble for a bit. No kids tonight, so I have some extra time on my hands for once. Oh I also put up a picture of what my Mom got me for Mother's day. I love my new statue.

    Decisions

Thursday, May 15, 2008, 08:59 AM EST [General]

So I decided that the armwarmers are probably best suited for the yarn that I have been wanting to use. Then I am going to make Heather the Hippo from Lion Brand for my daughter. Her birthday is in July so I better get started soon. Today I am going to finish my stepdaughter's purse. Her birthday is Saturday and I've been working on this purse for a while. I am also going to make her a t-shirt. I bought a man's small, but she's so tiny I'm going to have to adjust it. I will post what I get finished!

    Book has inspired

Wednesday, May 14, 2008, 11:06 PM EST [General]

Okay so yesterday when I got home, there was a plesant suprise waiting for me. "The shop on Blossom Street, by Debbie Macomber. (sorry if I butchered this). I finished it today. I could not put it down. It has truley inspired me to start something. My only problem is I only have one skein of this or one of that. I have some much yarn to use, I'd hate to go buy more. Not to mention the hubby would absolutely kill me for buying more yarn. SO maybe if I start my first sweater it will be a multi-colored one. I have some great  pink yarn and some moss colored yarn that would look good together. Or maybe a bright yellow and .......hum... now the marbles are rattling my brain. Maybe some sleep will do me good. I'll let ya know what I decide if anything in the morning!  I am just awful at picking colors to go together. And I wanted to be a home interior decorator! Hah! Funny me!
