My Crafts: I love paper crafts of all kinds. A few of these are Rubber Stamping, Quilling, ATC and Card Making, Scrapbooking, Origami, Onare (paper piercing), Dry Embossing, Paper Piecing, etc. . I also paint landscapes in acrylic, and I used to crochet, knit, sew, and crosstitch quite a bit, but not as much lately. . I like to work with polymer clay, do floral arranging, and decorate my home. On my computer, I really enjoy Paint Shop Pro and Animation shop to make signature tags, blinkies, and backgrounds. . I'm sure there are other crafts I can't think of right now.

My Inspirations: Inspiration for crafts comes from online groups and internet searches mostly, although I like several of the craft TV shows too. I went on a crafting cruise with Carol Duvall once.

My Shows: Psych, Monk, House, NCIS, emergency room shows, forensic files type shows.

My Movies: Although I am not generally a sci-fi fan, my favorite movie of all time is Close Encounters of the Third Kind. . When my kids were home we also watched several movies so much we memorized large parts of them: Ferris Beuhler, Real Genius, Top Secret, High Strung, Nine to Five are a few. . I like mysteries that have a lot of plot twists and make you really think, like Memento and The Usual Suspects. . Also comedies that aren't slapstick silly - movies that make me laugh out loud like Forget Paris.

My Books: Favorite of all time is Jane Eyre. . When I was working on my degrees I had to read so much technical and non-fiction stuff that I had hardly any time for recreational reading. Now that I am semi-retired, I have discovered that I enjoy reading clean books that are known as cozies. Not romances per se, but mystery series that sometimes have a romantic interest. Often I like inspirational series, because I know the lifestyles of the characters won't be offensive to me or my God.

My Magazines: World, Creation Magazine, Reader's Digest, Paper Crafts

My Music: Classical and other instrumental music

My Occupation: Licensed Psychotherapist

My Family Members: I have been married 36 years, and we have 2 grown children (both married), 5 grandchildren, and 2 kitty cats.

My Other Hobbies: Is travel a hobby? Well, dh and I travel around in search of fireworks displays. [My husband owns his own business, so the boss is very generous with free time.] :-) . We enjoy cruising - we have done three so far - and we also plan to finish visiting all 50 states. . I like Bible Study as well as topical studies on biblical themes. . I also collect little houses. . 1) I have an extensive collection of Lilliput Lane and David Winter Cottages . 2)I also have discovered the delight of Lemax Village lighted buildings. My collection grows each Christmas! . 3)Also there are 4 dollhouses (so far) in our back yard that are lit up each night. Hey, the gnomes have to live somewhere! . 5, 6, 7)I collected stuffed sheep for a long time, as well as Blue Delft and Cobalt Blue glass items. . . . Whew. No wonder I don't get any housework done!
