    My Crafts: I have been making fun things for as long as I can remember. I enjoy making jewelry, sewing, drawing and painting to name a few. I like making mohair teddy bears as well.
    My Inspirations: I really think inspiration is all over the place. Its so overwhelming sometimes. I am really inspired by color and nature. I am a huge fan of impressionist artist. My favorite being Monet and his water garden series.
    My Shows: I like LOST. But admit I am still lost! I like CSI Las Vegas, Two and a half men, and all of the older shows like Andy Griffith, I love Lucy and Leave it to Beaver.
    My Movies: I am into girly movies, and comedies. I like seeing movies that are light and make you laugh. Being scared sensless or tensed out isnt my idea of entertainment. lol
    My Books: I love Clive Cussler, Nora Roberts and the Harry Potter Series. I enjoy reading Alexandra Stoddard books and Wayne Dyer as well.
    My Magazines: I am a magazine-holic!!! I love Victoria, Romantic Homes, Country Living, Coastal Living, Teddy Bears and Friends, I even like several international publications. (get the idea, I am an addict)
    My Music: Love music!! So many to list, but I like Jazz and early Mowtown the best I guess. I like Nickleback these days. Rob Thomas, Maroon 5,,,etc
    My Occupation: Artist, pet sitter, secretary by day
    My Family Members: I have two daughters, Valerie and April and three grandkids, Mya, Jace and Mikey. My guys name is Jeff
    My Other Hobbies: I really enjoy reading, learning more about computers, I enjoy being around animals.

    Hi, my name is Gail, I am new to this so bear with me. This sounds like a great place to meet like minded people. I love creating. I cant wait to hear from you. I have a blog page as well that I like to feature an artist on every couple weeks. I really like the idea of supporting each other. Right now I have been making jewelry. I am a certified bead a holic!!! lol I enjoy sewing, and love making mohair teddy bears. I make purses and totes, and have written a childrens book, but now must find the time to animate it.  I am looking forward to getting to know some new people here.   Gail

    Yes, it is. In the Etsy convo, I sent you a link to our Etsy Team page. I look forward to meeting you. I truly believe everything happens for a reason SO I hope this is the beginning of a new friendship! I can never have enough friends.

    I'm on my way to Tempe. My daughter still does cheerleading at Arizona MYTHS in Tempe and they are having an open house today. I will talk with you soon.

    Your Esty items are great. My store is aimzblingz.etsy.com I don't have much in there right now.

    I use to live in Ahwatukee, but I'm now in North Phoenix. I hope to move back to Chandler in early June once my daughter is out of school.

    Etsy has Teams or Groups that allow artist to network. Our team has a monthly meeting and a Google group. The Google Group is how we communicate with each other about shows and opportunities to learn new skills, as well as, just general life and art/craft stuff. Our next meeting is April 10 at 7pm. You are more than welcome to join us. I sent you an Etsy convo. I can definitely get you the information if you are interested.

    Hi Gail,

    I just signed up too. When I saw you were in Tempe, I thought you would be a great "first friend".

    I mostly do custom embellishments with Swarovski crystals flip flops, t-shirts, lighters, whatever I can think of. That's why my favorite quote is my own "if you can bring it, I can bling it". I, also, make jewelry, knit, cross stitch. I really want to learn to sew and crochet. I have a sewing machine, but really have no clue how to use it.

    I have a shop on Etsy and I am a member of the Arizona Crafty Burrito Collective Etsy team.
