Always crafted.make my own clothes and soft furnishings knit,crochet,bead, design,write, teach and love crafting. Have written 5 books now and just adore inventing new designs for crafters to enjoy
My Inspirations:
Travel,reading,colour and my garden which is a classic english garden with huge swathes of planted borders of old English style paeonies,forget-me-nots cherry trees plum trees a greenhouse full of salad crops.I photograph everythingand use computer design to get the esential design element to then work on which then gets sent to a sketch book.i make a sketch every day even if just a pencil quickie --the discipline keeps you on your toes.

Have shown all over the uk and launched Wire Jewelry in Birmingham which I now teach all over the UK and hope to be teaching at the shows next year in the USA .Knitting designs feature everymonth in a Uk knitting magazine and my knitting books .
My Movies:
never choose the movies as such that I watch but enjoy the down time --or the laughter

Chocolate Heaven here we go folks a great treat devised by yours truly a truly sumptious chocolate treat. what you need 200g butter 200gms dark chocolate 2 large eggs 100gms sugar 1 pan 2 bowl 1 baking tray 30cms x 16cms get ready heat the oven 180c ,160c fan,gas 4 line a baking tray 30cms by 16cms with paper slightly floured go cube the butter ,break up the choc ,put in glass bowl and melt over a pan of warming water, whisk eggs and sugar together until pale and mousse like now add the butter and choc mix pour into tray and place in oven foe 14minutes remove from oven leave to cool slice and there you have it chocolate heaven Enjoy !!!! so excited

just joined a new group today did not even know it existed re baking which is a subject close to my heart at the moment . Baking was a wonderful pastime and then became a dying art form ,so pleased teatime is coming back and the art of presenting it properly as well . I have been hosting a Ladies Teatime one afternoon per month and we are upping it to oncea fortnight in these lovely months to come .I t is not that we have nothing better to do it is a life choice and better than meeting in the evening at the pub and I get to bake .We have had great fun photgraphing all our lovely china and serviettes etc good time is had by all Chrissie will dig out a recipe for the blog here Embroidery

Whoa learning geometric beading so I can translate all my sketches of designs into beadwork has been todays task --Yep I know all the stitches but the discipline of shape reminds me of patchwork lessons all those years ago and angles and degrees etc anyway here is the result of Day 1 beading this way
