I'm a strictly 'needs must' crafter, and I have made many blinds and cushions in my time. I do enjoy knitting as long as it's straight, but how many scarves can I fit in my coat cupboard? Oh, and smoothie making, of course!

Sleepless in Seattle, Falling in Love (in fact almost any movie starring Robert De Niro), Etre et Avoir, The Story of the Weeping Camel.

Anything by Anne Tyler and, in times of great stress, Winnie the Pooh.

Anything half decent at my local library's magazine exchange, although I draw the line at Caravanning Today. And the best free food magazine in the UK, Somerfield's supermarket mag.

Bach, the Beatles and Bare Naked Ladies

Cycling, swimming, running, and yoga. I like going to the movies, walking on Dartmoor, learning Spanish, and, according to my kids, fussing.
