I have been painting china for about 20 years.  My mother-in-law taught me and until she passed away in 1996, we got together and painted every Saturday.  I didn't know that I loved painting so much...she awoke the artist in me.  Now I paint on everything, oils (I especially love to paint landscapes and birds), wood and glass (I cutout and paint wooden wine bottle caddies and then paint matching wine glasses and sell them at festivals).

I've been making jewelry about 2 years.  I have done some festivals with my jewelry, however, I prefer to do home parties.

I'm brand new to blogging!  I'm really looking forward to talking to fellow beaders and painters.
