This cheery wildflower planter is just in time to house your spring flowers. It was painted on a metal tub that has a smooth enameled finish. The slick, non-porous surface is ideal for Enamel paints and brushes, which are specially designed for glass ceramics, metal and other slick, reflective surfaces. These paints will hold up to the outdoor elements your planter will face.
Here are two tips to keep in mind when working with Enamel paints:
• Always clean the surface with rubbing alcohol to remove
dirt and skin oils. Be careful not to touch the areas you are painting
• Don’t use water to thin Enamels; use Enamels Clear Medium by Plaid FolkArt to moisten the bristles and to thin the paint. Water will compromise the paint’s adhesion and durability.
