Happy Memorial Day to all our U.S. readers!

This is the season when people are thinking travel--whether it's a big vacation or packing up and coming home from college. To fit that theme, this week's free cross stitch project features a design for a Bon Voyage card.

His'n'Hers features two suitcases, no doubt packed by a couple headed for a weekend getaway or a cruise (or even a honeymoon). If you want to use this design in a less specific card, simply leave off the cross stitched tags that read "His" and "Hers."

This project, designed by Lesley Teare, is from Quick to Stitch Cross Stitch Cards: 120 Designs to Stitch in an Evening, a Day or a Weekend. It measures 2-3/4" x 2-1/2" (6.7cm x 6.2cm) when stitched on 14-count Aida (pale lime fabric was used in the example). What other uses can you come up with for this charming design?
