Who would have thought a button could look so good. A beautiful peyote stitch band encases the clay button that can be used on any knitted, crocheted or sewn piece of clothing. Or, use the Golden Spiral Button for a special purse closure, just sew on the button and then make a beaded loop to create your clasp. Make sure you flaunt it when you're out on the town with your girlfriends — they'll are be envious. And, if you prefer a beautiful brooch or bracelet, check out Jane Davis' book, Bracelets, Buttons and Brooches.

The 20 gorgeous projects will inspire all kinds of ideas for your own jewelry creations.

May is the national month of many things; just check it out on Google™ and see for yourself. But, what most of us think of in May is Mother's Day, along with Communions, graduations and weddings. So, with that in mind, shown is a dainty pair of pearl and wire earrings from J. Marsha Michler's book, Bead & Wire Art Jewelry click. The earrings make a great gift for the bride — or for you. You need to be pampered too. With over 50 projects in Bead & Wire Art Jewelry, you could make a new jewelry piece each week.

No, I guess I never need a reason to buy more beads. And, your absolutely right, if you don't buy the beads when you see them, they will probably not be in the store when you go back.
I look forward to your new book. More fun projects!

Do we ever need an excuse to buy more beads? I say if something catches your fancy grab it. I used to hesitate, then come up with a great idea for them later. By the time I'd get back to the store the beads were long gone. I've gotten smarter and my stash has gotten bigger!
I'm just finishing up the proof of Simply Beaded Bliss. With all the great jewelry titles coming out there should be no shortage of projects to post!
    Thanks for the excellent posts.
